The goal of Slingshot is to help launch products created by inventors and entrepreneurs from the Pacific Northwest into the global marketplace.  We do this by working closely with the NW Innovation Resource Center (NWIRC).  

Over the past 5 years the NWIRC has been on a mission to grow the Inventor community in NW Washington. Great things continue to be on the horizon for 2017 and we both want more open innovation where people can take an active role in continuing to build this community of makers, inventors and entrepreneurs.

This is why the NWIRC is starting a new series of events called Innovation Roundtables. This is an opportunity for individuals and businesses to come together to collaborate, design and build products and businesses that will continue to strengthen NW Washington's economy.

The first Innovation Roundtable will be held on March 1, 12-1:30PM and will be an open session to discuss future Innovation Roundtable topics as well as offer free time for other local innovators to meet and talk about what they are working on.
